Simply connect the ICamBodies scanbodies to the dental implants. Note that ICam photogrammetry is the only system with individually calibrated titanium scanbodies that can be X-rayed. Quickly calibrate the ICam and position it over the ICamBodies to easily capture multiple images of the abutments from different angles. The system’s software then processes the images, using mathematical algorithms to create a 3D digital representation of the implant positions. ICam photogrammetry runs 60,800 calculations, while other digital implant impressions systems only run between 150 – 260 calculations.

Technology
The ICam is a hand held “camera unit” consisting of four cameras and one projector. lt combines photogrammetric and structured Light scanning techniques to capture 3D data. lt uses the ICamBodies, high precision mechanical parts with a unique proprietary target arrangement, to determine the position and orientation of implants. The position and orientation computed for one implant is called an “ICamPosition”. The ICamBodies are replaced by Imetric at regular intervals to assure that they always meet the necessary precision requirements.
